rickspringfield_jeffsilverman_fromthevaultΚαι μετά από την πολύ καλή προσπάθεια του Rick Springfield στον καινούργιο του δίσκο έρχεται η αναίτια κίνηση. Χωρίς να αποτελεί μέρος του όλου concept του καινούργιου album, κυκλοφορεί και μια συλλογή από την συνεργασία του με τον χρόνιο κιθαρίστα, συνθέτη και τα λοιπά, Jeff Silverman, από το 1986 έως το 1999. Η συλλογή περιέχει σπάνιο υλικό και για να λέμε και του στραβού το δίκιο, κάποια από τα κομμάτια δεν είχαν δει ποτέ το φως του ήλιου. Πέρα απ’ αυτό όμως δεν νομίζω ότι απευθύνεται σε μεγαλύτερη μερίδα ακροατών πέρα από τους fans του συγκεκριμένου τραγουδιστή. Πέρα απ’ αυτό το υλικό που υπάρχει μέσα στο ‘From the Vault’ δεν με άγγιξε ιδιαίτερα και θα προτιμήσω να μείνω στις ευχάριστες εντυπώσεις που μου άφησε το ‘Venus In Overdrive’.
