greekrebels_notavailableimageΔημιουργημένοι το 2002 από τους Mael Saout και Emmanuel Creis, οι Γάλλοι progressive metallers κυκλοφορούν το 2ο τους άλμπουμ με τίτλο “ Mind Control”. Το ύφος τους είναι κάτι ανάμεσα σε melodic hard rock και progressive. Δεν είναι κακοί για τα δεδομένα του είδους, απλά μάλλον δε διαθέτουν κάτι για να ξεχωρίσουν στη σκηνή. Πιασάρικα τραγούδια με αρκετή μελωδία και με δυνατό τους χαρτί τα γεμίσματα από τα πλήκτρα, το cd των Shadyon χωρίς να είναι κάτι σπουδαίο κυλάει ευχάριστα. Μου θυμίζουν αρκετά τους Coheed and Cambria, ειδικά στα φωνητικά. Δεν έχω ακούσει το 1ο τους cd για να μπορώ να συγκρίνω και να διακρίνω σημεία βελτίωσης, όμως αυτό που μπορώ να διαπιστώσω είναι πως χρειάζονται αρκετή δουλειά ακόμα για να μπορέσουν να ξεχωρίσουν. Οπότε για την ώρα το μόνο που μπορώ να πω είναι πως τους ακούς 1-2 φορές και τους προσπερνάς.
