slavestogravity_underwaterouterspaceΎστερα από πολλά singles και ένα album, οι Slaves to Gravity δημιούργησαν το δίσκο «Underwaterouterspace», σε ελαφρύ stoner, grunge ήχο των nineties, με πολλά alternative στοιχεία. Η δουλειά τους έχει ωραίες δουλεμένες δομές και φαίνεται να έχουν εμπειρία στον τρόπο με τον οποίο γράφουν. Οι Slaves to Gravity δίνουν ρυθμό και τα σπάνε, κρατώντας και μια alternative διάσταση, παραβλέποντας τα τετριμμένα. Αν και γενικώς βαριέμαι αυτό τον ήχο- sorry παίδες- πρόκειται για μια πάρα πολύ καλή μπάντα που ξέρει να λύνεται, να σπάει και να χαλαρώνει, κρατώντας όμως άριστα ένα ζωντανό παλμό, λόγω των stoner γκρουβάτων riff. Για αυτό και δικαιολογώ τη μέχρι τώρα αρκετά επιτυχημένη πορεία τους. Εκεί λοιπόν όπου το grunge και το alternative αρχίζει να «στοουνερίζει», εκεί θα τους συναντήσει κανείς και… καλή ακρόαση.
