midnattsol_themetamorphosismelodyΈχοντας επιρροές από το μυστικισμό της Σκανδιναβίας και τη φύση του Βορρά, οι Midnattsol μας παρουσιάζουν το δίσκο τους με τίτλο « The Metamorphosis Melody». Η μπάντα έρχεται από Γερμανία και Νορβηγία. Με το πρώτο τους κομμάτι σε προϊδεάζουν για το τι έπεται να ακολουθήσει, δηλώνουν δηλαδή ότι πρόκειται για σκανδιναβικό gothic metal. Συνδυάζουν hard ήχο στο metal με ατμοσφαιρικά στιγμιότυπα. Η γλυκιά και απαλή φωνή της front woman συνδυάζεται με τους ήχους του βιολιού αλλά από την άλλη μεριά το διπέταλο και τα γρήγορα riffs δεν παραλείπονται. Αν και η μουσική τους έχει την υπευθυνότητα του νορβηγικού metal, δεν άκουσα κάτι το τόσο διαφορετικό.
