pequod_forgottenΟι Γερμανοί Pequod κυκλοφορούν το πρώτο τους full – length και είναι έτοιμοι να τα σαρώσουν όλα, συνδυάζοντας το Σουηδικό Death Metal με thrash. Δημιουργήθηκαν το 1998 στο Μόναχο και έκτοτε έχουν κυκλοφορήσει demos και EP. Η παραγωγή είναι πολύ δυνατή, οι συνθέσεις άψογες και άκρως πορωτικές, οι κιθάρες βαριές και μελωδικές, τα drums απίστευτα, με περίσσια blastbeats και δίκασες, η φωνή όσο σάπια και σωστή πρέπει. Όλα τα κομμάτια χώνουν αλύπητα, εκτός του ομώνυμου το οποίο είναι και πιο αργό αλλά και πάλι τέλειο. Επίσης, να σημειωθεί πως guest φωνητικά στο δίσκο έχουν κάνει οι Steffen Kummerer (Obscura / Thulcandra), Daniel Droste (Ahab) και Nick Kolar (Commander). Το εξώφυλλο του δίσκου σε βάζει κατ’ ευθείαν στο παρασύνθημα και καταλαβαίνεις πάνω κάτω τι περιμένεις να ακούσεις. Ένας πολύ καλός δίσκος με άψογη παραγωγή και ωραίες συνθέσεις έτοιμες να σου τινάξουν τα μυαλά στον αέρα! Ακούστε τον
