mercenary_metamorphosisΟι Δανοί Mercenary μετά το πολύ επιτυχημένο Architect Of Lies του 2009 επιστρέφουν με το νέο Metamorphosis και μας παρουσιάζουν άλλο ένα δείγμα ποιοτικού progressive death metal. Σε αυτό λοιπόν το νέο album ο ήχος είναι βαρύς έχοντας μια progressive αισθητική με τα πλήκτρα ιδιαιτέρα έντονα να τονίζουν όμορφα τα κομμάτια , οι μελωδίες δίνουν και παίρνουν ενώ η εναλλαγή death με καθαρά φωνητικά κρίνεται άκρως επιτυχημένη. Όλες οι συνθέσεις ξεχωρίζουν για τον ξεσηκωτικο χαρακτήρα τους έχοντας πραγματικά refrain ύμνους που καθηλώνουν κάνοντας σε να τα ακούς ξανά και ξανά. Ακουστέ κομμάτια όπως τα in a river of madness, velvet lies και black brigade και θα καταλάβετε τι εννοώ. Το Metamorphosis έχει και αυτό τα φόντα να γνωρίσει ανάλογη επιτυχία όπως o προκάτοχος του καθώς σε ποιότητα το πλησιάζει αρκετά και θα κερδίσει σίγουρα τις εντυπώσεις των fan του ιδιώματος.
