tormenta_tormentedsoulsΜπορεί οι Sepultura να έχουν κάνει ένα επ' αορίστου διάλειμμα από τον γνωστό thrash ήχο τους, οι Tormenta όμως είναι εδώ για να αντικαταστήσουν αυτό που έλειπε τόσο καιρό. Το πρώτο τους EP με τίτλο Tormented Souls, μάλλον είναι ότι πλησιέστερο έχω ακούσει μέχρι σήμερα στους Βραζιλιάνους. Έχουμε σύνολο έξι thrash οβίδες, η μία καλύτερη από την άλλη, με ελαφρύ προβάδισμα στο Hours Of Darkness για το πιο "ωμό" του ύφος, καθώς και έναν frontman ονόματι Mu-K (από μία κοραλλιογενή νήσο στον Ινδικό Ωκεανό κατάγονται, μη ρωτάτε) που άνετα βάζει κάτω τον Max Cavalera του σήμερα. Η παραγωγή χαρακτηρίζεται από μέτρια έως σάπια όσον αφορά τον τομέα drums, ενώ στα υπόλοιπα φαίνεται ότι ο underground ήχος δένει γάντι. Οπότε όλα δείχνουν να βαίνουν καλώς από την πρώτη γεύση των Tormenta. Τι Kairos, comeback Sepultura και χαζομάρες; Κάτσε να βγάλουν αυτοί εδώ το ντεμπούτο τους να δεις τι έχει να γίνει!
