imagesofeden_rebuildingtheruinsΟι Αμερικανοί Images of Eden είναι μια μπάντα που κινείται στο χώρο του progressive metal. Το Rebuilding the Ruins είναι το τέταρτο album τους το οποίο είναι concept και είναι και το καλύτερο δείγμα γραφής τους στην μέχρι τώρα πορεία τους. Οι επιρροές τους κυμαίνονται από τους Dream Theater και Fates Warning μέχρι τους Iron Maiden και Queensryche. Η μπάντα δείχνει πιο δεμένη κάνοντας το album να ακούγεται πιο ισορροπημένο ενώ και οι συνθέσεις είναι υψηλής ποιότητας. Παρά τις επιρροές τους με τα χρόνια έχουν δημιουργήσει τον προσωπικό τους ήχο και αποτελούν ανερχόμενη δύναμη στο progressive metal. Το μεγάλο ατού της μπάντας είναι τα φωνητικά του Gordon Tittsworth τα οποία είναι εξαιρετικά. Τα Tribal Scars , Human Angels , Sorrow’s End αποτελούν άξια σημεία αναφοράς για την ποιότητα του Rebuilding the Ruins. Σίγουρα αποτελεί must buy κυκλοφορία.
