snowblind_prisonersonplanetearthΟι Έλληνες Snowblind είναι μια μπάντα που υπηρετεί την Ελληνική σκηνή από το 1999. Με το Prisoners on Planet Earth το τέταρτο album τους κάνουν την μεγάλη επιστροφή στην δισκογραφία κάτω από την στέγη της Sleazy Rider records. Αυτήν την περίοδο η μπάντα αποτελείται από τους Mike Galiatsos- κιθάρα, φωνή ( Zion, Blind Justice, Nightfall), Jim Aggelopoulos-κιθάρες (Nightfall), George Aggelopoulos-μπάσο και George Karahalios-drums( Blind Justice, Kingdragon, Spitfire, Sacred Blood). Η μουσική τους περιγράφεται σαν gothic heavy metal έχοντας στις συνθέσεις και πιο επικά περάσματα. Το album αποτελείται από δώδεκα συνθέσεις μια εκ των οποίων είναι και το γνωστό Diva από το Diva Futura album των Nightfall το οποίο είχε συνθέσει ο Mike. Γενικά το Prisoners on Planet Earth δεν είναι ένα κακό album, έχει κάποιες πολύ όμορφες στιγμές οι συνθέσεις είναι αξιόλογες δίχως να εντυπωσιάζουν όμως καθώς αυτό το gothic feeling δεν κρίνεται απόλυτα επιτυχημένο. Στα αρνητικά είναι και η φωνή που προσωπικά με κούρασε και δείχνει να είναι το αδύναμο σημείο της μπάντας. Πάντως για τα πέντε χρόνια απουσίας η αλήθεια είναι πως περίμενα περισσότερα από το come back τους. Ωστόσο η ελπίδα δεν χάνεται και περιμένουμε καλύτερα πράγματα από τους Snowblind στο μέλλον.
