firstblood_silenceisbetrayalΜετράνε σχεδόν μια δεκαετία από τη δημιουργία τους στο ιστορικό πλέον San Francisco Bay Area και οι First Blood (πιστεύω ο John Rambo να μην συνέβαλλε για την εύρεση του ονόματος τους) κυκλοφορούν τη νέα τους δουλειά. Hardcore μονοπάτια, ακολουθώντας πιστά την σκηνή και τους πρωτοπόρους της, εχθρικοί στίχοι για το σύστημα, τσαμπουκαλεμένη μουσική με breakdowns που δεν αφήνουν τον αυχένα σε ηρεμία, και μια τσαντισμένη φωνή που εκφράζει πολλούς οργισμένους. Βέβαια δεν είναι κάτι νέο και ανήκουστο στην hardcore σκηνή της Αμερικής, αλλά το κάνουν καλά. Έχουν μοιραστεί την σκηνή με μεγάλα ονόματα όπως οι Sick Of It All, Agnostic Front, Hatebreed, Napalm Death, Exodus, Gorilla Biscuits, Earth Crisis ανάμεσα σε άλλους. Από θέμα παραγωγής είναι αξιόλογη, για μένα είναι πολύ πάνω τα drums, αλλά δεν με χαλάνε. Δεν με ενθουσίασε κάτι με δαύτους, δεν λέω, πολύ ενέργεια, τσαντίλα, macho, breakdowns και ξύλο. Κάτι που έχει παιχτεί και ειπωθεί πολλές φορές όμως.
