fairtomidland_arrowsanchorsΧμμ… με λίγες λέξεις progressive metal από το Dallas και το Texas που σε παίρνει και σε ταξιδεύει. Εκεί που ηρεμεί η ψυχή σου με κάποιες εισαγωγές που σε ψαρώνουν, με τους ήχους από τα keyboards και τις περίεργες μελωδίες, εκεί είναι που στα χώνουν και δεν ξέρεις από πού ήρθε αυτή η μπάντα στα καλά του καθουμένου μες στα αυτιά σου. Αργές εισαγωγές, progressive riffs και couples , μελωδικά refrain, γλυκές μελωδίες στη φωνή και screamo φωνητικά και όλα αυτά σε μια κυκλοφορία με τίτλο Arrows and Anchors. Ξεκινώντας από Genesis και Kansas, οι Fair to Minland φτάνουν να μου θυμίζουν και Pain of Salvation – εύκολα θα τους φανταζόμουν να τραγουδούν ξυπόλητοι-. Ενδεικτικό κομμάτι που δείχνει τι περίπου μπορούν να κάνουν είναι το Amarillo sleeps on my pillow. Και τώρα που τελειώνω αυτό που γράφω, πάω να τους ξανακούσω.
