mortaltorment_resuscitationΟι Mortal Torment είναι μια ελληνική brutal death μπάντα, από τις λίγες που υπάρχουν στην χώρα μας. Δημιουργήθηκαν το 2005 και από τότε έχουν κυκλοφορήσει ένα demo το Infernal Odium Schizophrenia (2006) και φέτος το παρών ντεμπούτο τους. Ο λόγος που υπήρχε αυτή η πάροδος 5 χρόνων για να βγει το άλμπουμ είναι οι πολλές αλλαγές μελών με αποτέλεσμα να μένουν πίσω οι συνθέσεις και όλα τα άλλα. Γνωστοί αρκετά στον underground κύκλο και χαρακτηριστικοί με τις live εμφανίσεις τους λόγω της τρέλας που κουβαλάνε και των χειρουργικών μασκών που φοράνε αυτοί και οι οπαδοί τους!! Το άλμπουμ αποτελείται από 9 κομμάτια συνολικής διάρκειας 41 λεπτών. Τι περιμένεις από έναν brutal death grind δίσκο? Growls (στο 95%), blast beats, βαρυκουρδισμένες κιθάρες και δυσαρμονικά σχεδόν μελωδικά parts, tremolo - hammered on riffs, αργά βασανιστικά tempo σε φάσεις, ψυχαναγκαστικά solos, ταχύτητα στην πλειοψηφία των κομματιών και gore - splatter στίχους. Pathological Death Grind λοιπόν σε πολύ καλά επίπεδα με καλύτερες στιγμές τα Amphetamine Murder, Exhumed Tormentors, Mortal Torment, Profane, Infernal Odium Schizophrenia, Resuscitation και Carnivorous Surgery!
