thesehearts_foreverendedyesterdayΟι These Hearts έβγαλαν μια αρκετά σωστά προωθούμενη κυκλοφορία με τίτλο “Forever Ended Yesterday”. Αυτό που θα ακούσουμε είναι κάπως «αντιφατικό». Από τη μια μεριά, έχουμε να κάνουμε με κάτι που θυμίζει old school band με κάπως alternative επιρροές και punk ρυθμικά. Από την άλλη, έχουμε πολλά post- hardcore ριφάκια. Σε όλα αυτά προστίθενται κραυγές στα φωνητικά που ενισχύουν τις νέο- punk μελωδίες της φωνής και κλασικές rock επιρροές. Η παραγωγή τους είναι το ατού αυτής της κυκλοφορίας και έχω να πω ότι αναδεικνύει τις κιθάρες κάνοντάς τες να φαίνονται πως έχουν περισσότερη ενέργεια. Πιασάρικος δίσκος, θα έλεγα πως αν δεν ξενίσει το έντονο και λίγο άσχετο με όλα τα άλλα hardcore στοιχείο εκεί μέσα θα μπορούσε κάποιος να τους προτιμήσει. Προσωπικά, θα ήθελα να τονίσουν περισσότερο τα hardcore θέματα μια και σαν μπάντα έχουν πολύ δυναμικές κιθάρες και τους πάει, απλά στο όλο σκηνικό θεώρησα λίγο υπερβολή που έχουν προσπαθήσει να συνδυάσουν τόσο διαφορετικά είδη.
