diabolosdust_ruinsofmankindΟι Diabolos Dust από την Γερμανία είναι μπάντα όπου η μουσική της κλείνει προς το old school thrash metal. Δημιουργήθηκαν το 2006 και κέρδισαν μεγάλη εμπειρία παίζοντας με μπάντες όπως οι Testament, οι Sepultura και ο Paul Di’ Anno καθώς κυκλοφόρησαν και δυο demo και το debut album τους το 2009. Αυτήν την φορά επιστρέφουν κάτω από την στέγη της Massacre, κερδίζοντας την ευκαιρία να επανακυκλοφορήσουν το ντεμπούτο τους σε παγκόσμιο επίπεδο. Το “Ruins of Mankind” αν και αποτελείται από δυνατές συνθέσεις η μουσική του δεν έχει κάτι το αξιοσημείωτο για να το κάνει να ξεχωρίσει. Παρόλα αυτά έχει πολύ ενέργεια, ωραία τεχνικά solo, πολύ καλά φωνητικά και ρυθμικά ξεσπάσματα που προσφέρουν άφθονο head banging. Αλλά από πλευράς συνθέσεων αν εξαιρέσεις το γρήγορο και βαρύ “Ruins of Mankind” και το up-tempo “Fading To Grey” το οποίο ξεχωρίζει για τις φωνητικές του μελωδίες, δεν κατάφερα να ξεχωρίσω άλλο. Σαν μουσικοί δείχνουν πολύ  καλά καταρτισμένοι, ειδικά στα φωνητικά ο Jurgen Dachl έχει κάνει εξαιρετική δουλειά, η παραγωγή του είναι επίσης πολύ καλή και το “Ruins of Mankind” αν και δεν εντυπωσιάζει μπορεί να χαρακτηριστεί σαν μια αρκετά καλή αρχή.
