thewheel_coverΔέκα Επιθετικές Hard rock-ιές μας χαρίζουν οι The Wheel στο ντεμπούτο άλμπουμ τους που φέρει σαν τίτλο απλά το όνομα τους. Δυνατά riffs των 70ς που θυμίζουν έντονα τους Led Zeppelin, τους Free και τους μεταγενέστερους Van Halen,  μπολιάζοντας τα με μουσικά στοιχεία των 90ς όπως των Alice in Chains και των Soundgarden. Οι The Wheel λαμβάνουν το ρόλο τους πολύ σοβαρά, σεβόμενη την ροκ ιστορία, παίζουν προσπαθώντας να διατηρήσουν τo Hard Rock ζωντανό. Από το σχηματισμό τους το 2007 και μετά έχουν συμμετάσχει σε πολλά φεστιβάλ με πολλά συγκροτήματα όπως τους Ufo, τον Ken Hensley και τους The Quireboy ανάμεσα σε πολλά άλλα. Όπως είπαμε, με δυνατά riffs & μελωδίες που γλυκαίνουν, θυμίζουν παλαιότερες εποχές, ρεφρέν που σου εντυπώνονται στη μνήμη όπως στο “Into the Water”, “Telli’n no lies”, ”Sparks” κάνουν την προσπάθεια τους και μάλιστα πολύ καλά. Επίσης ευχάριστη γεύση σου αφήνει το groovy κομμάτι “Comin on“. Τώρα εάν είσαι fan της Hard Rock, θα πρέπει να «δανείσεις τα αυτιά σου» ώστε να ακούσεις την συγκεκριμένη καλοδουλεμένη προσπάθεια των The Wheel.
