orangegoblin_aeulogyforthedamnedOrange Goblin are back baby! Φτάνοντας αισίως τα επτά full - lengths στη δισκογραφία, μένουν σταθεροί στις ρίζες τους και φτιάχνουν ακόμα καλή μουσική. Ξεκίνησαν δεκαπέντε χρόνια πριν από το νησί, υπό το όνομα Our Haunted Kingdom και ακόμα βγάζουν αξιόλογα άλμπουμ και δίνουν συναυλίες γεμάτες με groove και μπύρα! Κάπως έτσι ακούγεται και ο τελευταίος δίσκος τους Eulogy For The Damned, γυρίζοντας στα γνωστά stoner στοιχεία, κάτι που γνωρίζουν να κάνουν καλά. Από το εναρκτήριο κομμάτι Red Tide Rising, μπαίνεις στο κλίμα και σε προετοιμάζουν για πολύ κοπάνημα. Επιρροές από Motorhead φανερές, με το πνεύμα του Lemmy να υπονοείται εκεί κάπου ανάμεσα στις νότες και να δίνει τη μεγάλη βοήθεια του στο groove και στα γρεζιάδικα φωνητικά του Ben Ward. Τα κομμάτια συνθετικά είναι πολύ καλά, δεν επαναπροσδιορίζουν κάτι, αλλά είναι πλέον κλασσικά, η παραγωγή του ήχου από την άλλη εξυψώνει τα ήδη πολύ καλά κομμάτια και η μίξη έχει γίνει σωστά. Ένας αξιόλογος δίσκος για να κλείσει όμορφα το 2011 και να μπει με περίσσιο groove το 2012!
