hostile_eveofdestructionΟι Hostile είναι ανακάλυψη του KK Downing (ex Judas Priest), τους οποίους είδε σ’ ένα live στην Αγγλία και συνεργάστηκε μαζί τους αναλαμβάνοντας την παραγωγή στο album. Επίσης στο μπάσο βρίσκεται ο Alex Hill γιος του Ian Hill (Judas Priest). Με αυτά τα δεδομένα ο πήχης απογειώνεται όπως καταλαβαίνετε. Η μουσική του Eve Of Destruction όμως δεν καταφέρνει να καλύψει όλες τις προσδοκίες . Αποτελούμενο από δέκα συνθέσεις που η συνολική διάρκεια δεν ξεπερνά τα 36 λεπτά, διαθέτουν επιθετική μουσική με αρκετά solos, ύφος που φέρνει στους Machine Head, Bullet for my Valentine, αλλά υστερούν από θέμα έμπνευσης καθώς στο μεγαλύτερο ποσοστό δεν έχουν και ιδιαιτέρα πράγματα να προσφέρουν. Ακομα και η παραγωγή δεν είναι η αναμενόμενη ενώ θα μπορούσε να ήταν πολύ καλύτερη. Συνεπώς το “Eve Of Destruction” δεν είναι το album που θα τους κάνει να ξεχωρίσουν παρά την συμμετοχή των ονομάτων που αναφέρονται.
