deadlabel_senseofslaughterΚαι άλλη μία καινούργια δουλειά, αυτή την φορά εκ Ιρλανδίας, από το τριμελές συγκρότημα Dead Label όπου σχηματίστηκε το 2008, και κέρδισαν και ένα battle of the bands, όσο αυτό μετράει. Βγάζοντας τον πρώτο full τους δίσκο ακούμε επιρροές από Slipknot, Trivium, Metallica, Pantera, Machine head όπως οι ίδιοι ισχυρίζονται. Στην πραγματικότητα λίγα χαρακτηριστικά στον ήχο τους θυμίζουν τα προαναφερθέντα. Περισσότερο ακούγονται σαν nu – metal, με core-οειδή φωνητικά, death riffing και μερικά thrash σημεία, δείχνοντας λίγη προσωπικότητα. Η παραγωγή δεν είναι άσχημη αν και όχι τέλεια, καθώς τα drums δεν μου κάθονται και πολύ καλά (αρκετά κούφια και αδύναμα), αν και πιστεύω ότι ήταν επιλογή τους να ακούγονται έτσι. Η παραγωγή έγινε από τον Mark Daghorn (Cradle of Filth, Orange Goblin, Raging Speedhorn κ.α.). Τα παιδιά έχουν ταλέντο, έχουν ιδέες, μάλλον θέλουν κάπως καλύτερη διαχείριση όλου αυτού. Πολύ core για εμένα, αν όμως σας ενδιαφέρουν παρόλα αυτά ρίξτε καμία ματιά στα δώδεκα νέα κομμάτια τους.
