mindkey_pulseforagraveheartΗ αλήθεια είναι ότι αν κρίνει κανείς μόνο από το όνομα της μπάντας, τον τίτλο του δίσκου και το εξώφυλλο δεν και είναι εύκολο να καταλάβει τι θα ακούσει. Το Pulse For A Graveheart είναι ο δεύτερος δίσκος των Ιταλών Mind Key, με τον Aurelio Fierro να παίρνει την θέση του Mark Basile στα φωνητικά. Ο δίσκος είναι πραγματικά εξαιρετικός και αποτελείται από δέκα κομμάτια βουτηγμένα σε ωραίες μελωδικές συνθέσεις, γεμάτες εναλλαγές, που κυμαίνονται σε progressive metal μονοπάτια, συνδυασμένα με αρκετά hard rock στοιχεία, ιδίως στις κιθάρες. Ο ήχος τους θυμίζει κάτι σαν έναν συνδυασμό από Evergrey και Symphony X, αλλά και με κάποια bluesy στοιχεία κατά σημεία. Ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον προκαλεί το γεγονός ότι στο album συμβάλλουν σαν guests ο Reb Beach (Whitesnake, Winger) στην κιθάρα για το "Now Until Forever", ο Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater, Alice Cooper) με ένα solo στα πλήκτρα για το "Citizen of Greed" καθώς και ο Tom Englund (Evergrey) με την φωνή του στο "Graveheart". Γενικά είναι μία πολύ ωραία δουλειά, ήπιων τόνων βέβαια, που ακούγεται ευχάριστα από την αρχή μέχρι το τέλος.
