hookahthefuzz_coverΕδώ έχουμε να κάνουμε με μια νέα prog metal μπάντα. Οι Hookah the Fuzz κατάγονται από το Birmingham της Αγγλίας και το album που φέρει το όνομα τους αποτελεί το ντεμπούτο τους. Η μουσικές τους επιρροές ξεκινάν από τους Metallica μέχρι τους Marillion και τους Porcupine Tree και βέβαια τους Dream Theater. Αν και νεαροί σε ηλικία έχουν καταφέρει μέσα από το ντεμπούτο τους να έχουν ένα φοβερό προσωπικό ήχο. Τα κομμάτια είναι άνω των 6 λεπτών σε διάρκεια ενώ είναι πολύ καλά δομημένα με heavy κιθάρες , ωραίες μελωδίες και φοβερές progressive ανατροπές. Όσες φορές και να το άκουσα πραγματικά δεν βρήκα ούτε ένα αδύνατο σημείο, ο δίσκος είναι εξαιρετικό παράδειγμα καλής progressive μουσικής και φανταστείτε τι έχουμε να περιμένουμε από αυτούς στο μέλλον. Τρέμω και μόνο στην ιδέα. Που ήσασταν κρυμμένοι τόσο καιρό ρε παιδιά;;;
