concretesun_coverΟι Concrete Sun από τη Σερβία παρακαλώ, κυκλοφορούν τη πρώτη τους δουλειά και μπορώ να πω πως είναι αξιοπρεπέστατο. Το ύφος τους μπορεί άνετα να χαρακτηρισθεί σαν southern heavy rock με αρκετά blues στοιχεία. Οι συνθέσεις είναι μεστές, αν και συνηθισμένες, έχουν το απαιτούμενο groove που απαιτεί ο ήχος, τα δυναμικά φωνητικά και τις ala Zakk Wylde κιθάρες. Τα σόλο είναι καλοπαιγμένα και έξυπνα και σε συνδυασμό με τα riffs, βγάζουν τον Αμερικάνικο Νότο από τα ηχεία μας. Το “Sky Is High” μου φέρνει στο νου τους Down, γεγονός θετικό αφενός, αλλά δεν έχει να προσφέρει κάτι ουσιαστικό στο είδος, πέραν ίσως από το fun της πρώτης ακρόασης. Επίσης απόλυτα respect στον θεϊκό τίτλο “God Forsaken Prostitute”.
